Eric Dane To Release Posthumous Memoir
Eric Dane is giving one last gift to the world after his passing.
The late Grey’s Anatomy star is going to be releasing a memoir titled My Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments later this year.
A press release from Penguin Random House stated that Eric made “the deliberate decision” to write this book after his ALS diagnosis:
“[Eric] wanted his daughters and readers to have these words. Publishing it as planned allows him to continue speaking, in his own voice, with the clarity and courage that defined him. He was working on the manuscript right up to the end.”

He chose Maria Shriver‘s team The Open Field to publish the book. And she said she’s “honored” that he chose her:
“He told me he wanted his family to know how much he loved them and he wanted to leave them a story they could be proud of.”
And as far as what Eric had to say? He said this of the book before he died:
“I wake up every morning, and I’m immediately reminded that this is real — this illness, this challenge — and that’s exactly why I’m writing this book. I want to capture the moments that shaped me — the beautiful days, the hard ones, the ones I never took for granted — so that if nothing else, people who read it will remember what it means to live with heart. If sharing this helps someone find meaning in their own days, then my story is worth telling.”
So powerful…
The book will come out on November 3, 2026, and it will follow his entire life’s story.
Will U be reading it, Perezcious readers?
