La Roux Describes Kanye West Alleged Sexual Assault As ‘Horrific’ In New Court Docs
More chilling information is coming to light in Jennifer An’s lawsuit against Kanye West.
In late 2024, the America’s Next Top Model alum filed a jaw-dropping lawsuit against the disgraced rapper claiming he assaulted her on a music video set more than a decade ago. According to court docs obtained by TMZ and Rolling Stone at the time, Jennifer, who appeared on cycle 13 of ANTM, accused Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband of gender-motivated violence, sexual assault, and strangulation while filming the video for La Roux’s In For The Kill at the Chelsea Hotel in New York in 2010.

She claimed that he picked her from a lineup of multiple women, demanding, “Give me the Asian girl.” Jenn claimed she was wearing revealing lingerie at the time, and that Kanye said, “That’s why I chose you.” She further claimed that the Moon rapper choked and “smothered” her, and assaulted her “in a manner similar to pornographic gagging/deep throat/BDSM fetishes.” The suit revealed:
“On camera, defendant West began to choke plaintiff with one hand. He then wrapped his other hand around her neck and continued to strangle her with both hands. He then rammed several fingers down her throat, continuously moved them in and out, and gagged her.”
Jenn claimed Ye used his fingers “to emulate forced oral sex” while howling:
“This is art. This is f**king art. I am like Picasso.”
WTF.
According to Jenn, Kanye proceeded until she “temporarily blacked out” as no one in the room put a stop to it:
“Plaintiff struggled to breathe and felt as if she had temporarily blacked out. When defendant West decided that he was finished with plaintiff, her face was covered in saliva and smeared makeup.”
Jenn also claimed La Roux witnessed some “upsetting, unsettling” behavior during the shoot. And now we’re hearing things from La Roux’s perspective directly.
In new court documents obtained by Rolling Stone, La Roux claimed to remember witnessing the “horrific” act of aggression:
“I could never forget that, it was horrific.”
Jenn apparently reached out to La Roux directly on Instagram in 2024 to ask about La Roux’s perspective, and La Roux added:
“I have never seen the footage (thankfully), and obviously I asked for it to never be used or for it to be seen as you were understandably very concerned about anyone or your family seeing it. I’m so sorry it happened.”
Yikes…
In January, Kanye attempted to have Jenn’s claims dismissed, arguing they infringe on his First Amendment right to free speech. His team argued the alleged misconduct “occurred in the course of producing expressive.”
On Tuesday, Jenn’s legal rep Jesse S. Weinstein challenged the argument in court filings:
“We disagree with [West’s] contention that the alleged sexual assault of Ms. An was protected artistic expression. Our filing sets out substantial corroborating evidence supporting the allegations, including contemporaneous communications and witness testimony. We believe the record makes clear that the claims have a substantial basis in law and fact and should proceed so that the evidence can be fully examined in court.”
