Whitney Leavitt Finally Addresses Taylor Frankie Paul Scandal — Gives FIRM Stance On Children’s Safety: ‘Always, Period, The End’

Whitney Leavitt is speaking out for the first time about her fellow The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast member Taylor Frankie Paul‘s massive scandal.

As you know, news broke last week that the 31-year-old reality star and her baby daddy/ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, allegedly had been involved in a domestic dispute in February, which paused production on Season 5 of Mormon Wives. There is currently a domestic assault investigation by the Draper City Police Department in Utah stemming from the incident after the pair both made allegations about each other. Taylor is also under investigation at the West Jordan Police Department after Dakota contacted them last month about another domestic violence incident back in 2024.

In addition, the Utah Division of Child and Family Services is involved because Dakota reported the MomTok star for allegedly abusing their 2-year-old son, Ever, which she has vehemently denied. He currently has temporary custody of their child, as well as a temporary protective order against Taylor in place.

Days after the initial domestic dispute reports, footage dropped of Taylor assaulting Dakota and throwing metal chairs at him, which ended up hitting her then 5-year-old daughter, in 2023. The video of the incident, for which Taylor was arrested and pleaded guilty to aggravated assault at the time, resulted in her season of The Bachelorette getting cancelled.

A lot has happened lately, and it is understandably a lot to process for everyone – especially for Taylor’s co-stars. Whitney, the series’ other big breakout star, broke her silence over the matter in an interview published on Wednesday with Interview Magazine. Although the Chicago star has many “emotions” about the situation, she made it clear that the safety of the kids is her top priority, no matter what:

“I have a lot of emotions about it and I’m still processing everything that’s happening, but the safety of human beings, especially children, comes first. Always, period, the end. And I don’t want that to be tolerated. I don’t want that to be overlooked. It’s just so fresh. That’s all I have to say about that.”

And she did! Whitney didn’t say anything else about the drama, other than:

“As far as Secret Lives, I just don’t know. I don’t know what that future looks like, especially right now.”
