Summer House Stars Amanda & West Denied Romance Rumors To Kyle Multiple Times — How Her Ex Reacted When He Found Out It’s Actually TRUE!
Kyle Cooke is feeling the sting of betrayal!
In case you missed it, after weeks of speculation, Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed they are dating in a joint statement posted to Instagram Stories on Tuesday! The problem with their relationship, however, is that Amanda is (er, was) best friends with Ciara Miller, who used to date West! In fact, fans are all watching the current season of Summer House right now, in which he is actively flirting and wanting to get back together with Ciara! He is also friends with Amanda’s estranged husband, Kyle! So, basically, it is a massive betrayal all around!
As we mentioned, rumors of Amanda and West dating have been circulating since the beginning of March. It started when DeuxMoi claimed a source spotted the pair being “openly flirty, allegedly even holding hands under the table” at an event in New York City. West denied the rumors, saying they are “friends.” For his part, Kyle did not believe it was true, even saying he would be “surprised” if the two confirmed they’re dating.

Well, now it turns out that he only doubted the speculation because Amanda and West repeatedly shut it down to his face! Whoa!
Sources close to the Summer House group told TMZ on Tuesday that the dating rumors were just rumors to Kyle… even up to this weekend! The insiders claimed that after seeing all the chatter online, the Loverboy founder asked Amanda and West multiple times if there was any merit to it, but they denied anything was going on each time.
Sooooooo they pretty much lied! Damn! Is that why Ciara unfollowed both Amanda and West immediately after their joint statement?! Besides the fact that Amanda broke girl code, did they also lie and deny the rumors to her? Dunno for sure, but we wouldn’t be totally shocked if that turns out to be the case, too!
As for when Kyle found out the truth? The sources believe he learned it after returning to New York, which is why he posted that cryptic post with Ciara on Monday.

The timing makes sense! TMZ sources say Kyle is insisting to friends that Amanda and West’s relationship doesn’t bother him, but he supposedly keeps bringing it up and complaining about how upset he is about the situation.
And we get why he is hurt! Although he and Amanda separated in January, it sucks to see your ex move on, especially with your friend and co-star!
Oh, and that part is what he is apparently struggling with the most, according to Us Weekly! An insider told the outlet:
“Kyle always knew Amanda would eventually move on, but he never imagined it would be with a castmate or anyone within their own circle. The idea of her dating a castmate is something he’s really struggled to wrap his head around.”
The source said Kyle “was genuinely blindsided by the news and completely caught off guard” by the romance, “especially given how close the group is.” They added:
“It’s not just the relationship itself that surprised him, but who it’s with, which has made it even harder for him to process. He is definitely upset by the news but also knows it takes a bit of heat off him and their marriage dynamic.”
That’s for sure, as everyone is rallying around Ciara following the betrayal — and somewhat, Kyle, despite him previously being in the dog house.
He was facing a lot of backlash after last week’s episode of Summer House showed him berating Amanda, going as far as to make her cry when he called her “a f**king dumbass b**ch.” Disgusting. However, we’re all focused on the Summer House scandal now instead. Kyle lucked out…
