Prince Harry SUED By Charity He Co-Founded After Messy Drama With Chairwoman — Details!
Prince Harry‘s problems with his former charity are far from over!
As Perezcious readers may recall, in honor of their mothers, Princess Diana and Queen Mamohato, the Duke of Sussex co-founded Sentebale with his friend Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to help young victims of HIV and AIDS in Lesotho and Botswana back in 2006. However, they had to resign from the charity in March 2025 due to a nasty falling out with the Chairwoman, Dr. Sophie Chandauka.

The Board of Trustees reportedly had lots of problems with her, so much so that they asked her to step down. She refused, though. Instead, she sued them for abuse of power, misogynoir, and more. Dr. Chandauka specifically put Prince Harry on blast for alleged harassment and bullying, even claiming Meghan Markle is also a HUGE part of the problem. What a mess! And there is more!
The Charity Commission, which is responsible for regulating charities in England and Wales, then opened up an investigation over the shocking allegations. They ultimately found no evidence of “widespread or systemic bullying, harassment, misogyny or misogynoir” at the Sentebale. If you thought that would be the end of Harry’s issues with the charity, however, you would be wrong! Sentebale is now suing the 41-year-old royal for libel and slander!
WHOA!
On Friday, Page Six confirmed the organization filed a defamation suit against Harry at the High Court in London on March 24. The lawsuit includes his close friend, Mark Dyer, who served as a trustee of Sentebale before the drama with Dr. Chandauka.
The board of trustees and the executive director then released a statement on Friday, saying the charity “has commenced legal proceedings” against Harry and Mark over an alleged “coordinated adverse media campaign conducted” since March 25, 2025. They claimed the pair “caused operational disruption and reputational harm to the charity, its leadership, and its strategic partners” that “resulted in significant viral impact and triggered an onslaught of cyber-bullying directed at the charity and its leadership.” Yikes. A spokesperson for Harry and Mark slammed the allegations to Page Six, saying they “categorically reject” Sentebale’s “offensive and damaging claims.” They added:
“It is extraordinary that charitable funds are now being used to pursue legal action against the very people who built and supported the organisation for nearly two decades, rather than being directed to the communities the charity was created to serve.”
