Michael B. Jordan Expands Amazon Empire With Fourth Wing, Creed Spinoff and Muhammad Ali Series
Michael B. Jordan closed out Amazon MGM Studios’ 2026 Upfront presentation in a major way, unveiling an ambitious slate of upcoming Prime Video projects tied to his growing partnership with the studio and his production company, Outlier Society.
Among the biggest announcements was The Greatest, the first scripted television series about Muhammad Ali officially authorized by Ali’s estate. The biographical drama stars Jaalen Best as the legendary boxer and is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios alongside Jordan’s Outlier Society, with Ali’s widow Lonnie Ali serving as an executive producer. The series will chronicle Ali’s rise from Cassius Clay to one of the most influential athletes and cultural figures in history.
Jordan also spotlighted Delphi, the upcoming Creed universe spinoff series executive produced alongside longtime collaborator Ryan Coogler. First announced last year, the drama is set within the world of the Rocky and Creed franchise and will reportedly center on young fighters training at Delphi Boxing Academy; the iconic Los Angeles gym featured throughout the films.
Perhaps the most talked-about reveal of the presentation was Prime Video officially greenlighting the adaptation of Fourth Wing, based on Rebecca Yarros’ bestselling romantasy phenomenon. The series, which has been in development since 2023, will be produced by Outlier Society with Meredith Averill attached as showrunner and Westworld creator Lisa Joy directing the pilot. Yarros appeared during the presentation and praised the creative team, saying she “trusts them completely” to bring the beloved saga to life.
The announcements further position Jordan as one of the most influential multi-hyphenates working in Hollywood today, expanding beyond blockbuster acting roles into franchise-building and prestige television production.
