With FIFA World Cup 2026 officially underway, excitement is building across Southern California as the U.S. Men’s National Team prepares for its biggest matches on home soil.

Press Pass LA visited the team’s training headquarters at Great Park in Irvine, where fans gathered for a chance to catch a glimpse of their favorite players as they prepared for the tournament.

During our visit, we spoke with U.S. goalkeeper Matt Turner about the team’s mindset heading into the World Cup, while passionate supporters — including plenty of young soccer fans dreaming of one day wearing the red, white, and blue themselves — shared their excitement for the historic tournament.
