Big Brother Is Back: Meet the Season 28 Houseguests Entering TV’s Most Unpredictable Summer

Summer officially has a new obsession as Big Brother returns for season 28 packed with strategic gameplay, shocking twists, and an all-new cast ready to battle it out for the grand prize.

Hosted by Julie Chen and premiering with a special 90-minute episode on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ tonight (July 9), the latest season welcomes 14 new Houseguests into the iconic Big Brother house — but longtime fans know that’s only the beginning. In true Big Brother fashion, producers have already teased that additional surprise Houseguests will be revealed during the premiere, ensuring this summer starts with plenty of unexpected turns.

The Season 28 cast is one of the show’s most eclectic yet, featuring contestants from an impressive range of backgrounds. Among those entering the house are an MMA fighter, a rocket scientist, a game show host, the daughter of an ’80s pop star, and even a RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars favorite, creating the kind of diverse personalities that have made Big Brother a summer television staple for more than two decades.

As always, the real game begins after the episodes end. Fans will once again have access to the Big Brother Live Feeds, offering around-the-clock access to conversations, alliances, betrayals, and behind-the-scenes moments that never make the broadcast episodes.

The feeds launch Friday, July 10, on Paramount+ and Pluto TV, and for the first time, will also be available for a limited time on the show’s official YouTube channel following episodes of Big Brother and Big Brother: Unlocked.

Whether you’re a longtime live-feed superfan or jumping into the game for the first time, this season looks poised to deliver everything fans love: blindsides, backdoor evictions, showmances, fierce competitions, and enough drama to carry viewers through the summer.

With surprise Houseguests still waiting in the wings and producers promising that “nothing is as it seems,” one thing is already certain: this summer’s game is just getting started.
