FIFA World Cup 2026 Finale to Bring Tom Cruise, Post Malone, Robbie Williams, BTS and More
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is going out with a major entertainment lineup, As the historic 48-team tournament comes to a close, FIFA has announced a star-studded closing ceremony set to take place ahead of the World Cup final on Sunday, July 19, at New York New Jersey Stadium.
The celebration will bring together some of music and entertainment’s biggest names for one final global spectacle before Spain and Argentina face off for the championship.
Post Malone will headline the closing ceremony, with additional performances from Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams, and IShowSpeed. Tom Cruise is also set to make a special appearance as part of the ceremony.
The closing celebration is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. local time, 90 minutes before kickoff, and will honor the unforgettable journey of the 48 teams across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The 2026 tournament marks the biggest World Cup to date, expanding to 48 teams and 104 matches across 16 host cities.
Ahead of kickoff, Jennifer Hudson is set to perform a special rendition of the United States national anthem. The Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award winner will set the stage for the highly anticipated final.
And for fans who thought the music portion of the World Cup was already big, FIFA has also announced a separate first-ever World Cup final halftime show. Curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin and produced in partnership with Global Citizen, the halftime event will feature Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira and BTS, with additional appearances from Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus in collaboration with Coldplay.
With a lineup that spans pop, rock, hip-hop, global music and Hollywood, the FIFA World Cup 2026 finale is shaping up to be as much an entertainment event as it is a sporting one.
