Vans Warped Tour Returns to Long Beach This Weekend: What to Know Before You Go
The Vans Warped Tour is back in Southern California this weekend, bringing thousands of fans to the Long Beach waterfront for two days of live music, skate culture and nostalgia.
Taking place July 25-26 at the Shoreline Waterfront, the iconic festival continues its successful return after last year’s 30th anniversary revival.
While Warped Tour may have evolved from its cross-country summer trek, the spirit that made it a rite of passage for generations of music fans remains firmly intact. More than 80 artists will perform across multiple stages, alongside skateboarding exhibitions, artist meet-and-greets, nonprofit organizations, brand activations and plenty of opportunities to discover your next favorite band.
The Lineup
Whether you’re reliving your pop-punk glory days or discovering the next wave of alternative artists, this year’s Long Beach stop offers something for every generation of Warped Tour fan.
Among the biggest names performing throughout the weekend are Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, Simple Plan, Taking Back Sunday, Dance Gavin Dance, Underoath, The Story So Far, The Devil Wears Prada, Reel Big Fish and State Champs, joined by dozens of established favorites and emerging artists spanning punk, emo, hardcore, ska, metalcore and alternative rock.
As always, one of Warped Tour’s biggest draws isn’t just the headliners—it’s stumbling upon an incredible set from an artist you’ve never heard before.
More Than Just Concerts
Warped Tour has always been more than a music festival, and this year’s event continues that tradition.
Festivalgoers can expect Artist Alley, Record Label Row, sponsor activations, food vendors, extreme sports demonstrations, nonprofit organizations, exclusive merchandise and the Warped Tour Museum, celebrating more than three decades of the festival’s history.
Know Before You Go
If you’re heading to Long Beach this weekend, a little planning goes a long way.
Parking around the Shoreline Waterfront is expected to fill quickly, and organizers are encouraging attendees to use rideshare services or public transportation whenever possible. Comfortable shoes are a must, as you’ll likely be walking several miles between stages throughout the day.
July temperatures along the waterfront can still climb into the 80s, so staying hydrated is essential. Bring sunscreen, a refillable water bottle (check venue guidelines), sunglasses and a portable phone charger to make it through the day.
Stage schedules are typically released just days before the festival, so download the official Warped Tour app or save the daily schedule before arriving. With so many artists performing simultaneously, having a game plan can help ensure you don’t miss your must-see sets.
