Andy Cohen Reacts To Sarah Michelle Gellar Calling Real Housewives ‘Boring’ In His Own Studio!
You do not walk into Andy Cohen’s house and start throwing shade at his crown jewel franchise without expecting a little clapback. And yet, that is exactly what Sarah Michelle Gellar did.
And now the Bravo boss is making it very clear he did NOT appreciate the energy!
So, here’s the tea: while making the promotional tour rounds last week, the Buffy alum stopped by Page Six Radio and gave her honest take on the current season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And let’s just say… she was not exactly handing out diamonds.

Of RHOBH, she said this during that radio interview a week ago:
“I think it’s boring. I mean, I like the cast. I love Rachel [Zoe], I think Rachel’s a great addition. I love Boz [Saint John]. I think it’s a great — I mean, I live for Kathy and Jen. I want a spinoff. I want a Jen Tilly – Kathy Hilton spinoff. But it’s slow. It’s just picking up now.”
Yikes! Calling any Housewives franchise boring is basically Bravo blasphemy!

But it gets messier, Perezcious readers! Not only did she drop that bombshell, she did it from inside Andy’s own turf at SiriusXM, where Page Six Radio is taped alongside Cohen’s own iconic and infamous Radio Andy show. Bold move!
Naturally, Andy had something to say about it. And he did not hold back one bit when addressing the situation on-air during his brand-new show on Wednesday. He said:
“It was in our studio and then they post it, and it’s, like, ‘Sarah Michelle Gellar hates the Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ with all this Radio Andy signage everywhere. And I go, ‘You know what? Don’t bring someone into my studio to trash my show. How about the door is locked when I leave? How’s that? Or maybe think twice about posting that all over social media where it says, like, ‘Andy’ everywhere behind SMG.”
Oh, he was pressed pressed!
And just in case there was any confusion about where he stands, Andy added this little mic drop:
“She’s wrong, by the way.”
But… is she?????
Anyway, this is where it turns truly shady: apparently, Sarah sung a completely different tune when she was actually face-to-face with Andy! According to Andy’s co-host John Hill, the actress was heaping praise upon the show in front of Cohen just moments before dragging it elsewhere:
“It was right after she was on our show and was like, ‘Yeah, I like [RHOBH].’ And then she went on their show and was like, ‘No.’”
Ugh! That is the kind of two-faced behavior that would get you eaten alive at a Housewives reunion.

Through it all, Sarah has been busy promoting her upcoming project Ready or Not 2: Here I Come — even surviving a real-life scare during a press stop at Le Bristol Paris amid a kitchen fire evacuation.
Everyone is safe in that situation, thankfully. But talk about a chaotic press tour! Between dodging literal flames and Bravo backlash, it has been a week for SMG.
But next time? Maybe don’t bite the hand that holds the diamond.. especially when you are sitting in its studio.
