Britney Spears Fired Sober Coaches Before Arrest — How She Feels About Team’s Suggested Treatment Options Now!
Britney Spears made some telling changes to her personal life ahead of her arrest.
As you’ve likely heard, the Princess of Pop was arrested on Wednesday night for a DUI after she was caught allegedly swerving between lanes and speeding in Los Angeles. Cops reportedly saw an unknown substance in her car and believe she may have been on a mix of alcohol and drugs. Her blood alcohol content was tested. No official level has been released, but per TMZ intel, she’s supposedly been telling folks it was .06 (below California’s legal limit of .08 but still a possible offense if seen driving erratically, which she apparently was).

Her manager, Cade Hudson, was quick to speak out and denounce her “completely inexcusable” behavior. He also insisted her “loved ones” were going to be looking into how to get her “help and support” during “this difficult time.”
Well… now, it appears she had help — but she fired ’em!!
A new TMZ report on Friday claims that Brit Brit fired her sober coaches in the weeks before her arrest! Apparently, things changed weeks ago — and the staff was kicked to the curb after she sold her music catalogue and returned home from a trip to Los Cabos, Mexico.
Not only that, but her team also got rid of others who were hired to look out for her, including security guards. They’re now said to be restructuring things and working on a plan to help.
As for what Britney’s day-to-day life is typically like, the sources said she spends most of her time dancing naked all day, no matter where she is. Not surprising based on her Instagram activity! She also talks to herself and is in her own world, the insiders noted.
As we’ve reported, the Baby One More Time artist’s inner circle is hoping a judge will order her to undergo treatment for her alleged substance issues rather than sentence her to any jail time for this arrest. Despite having fired her sobriety coaches, other TMZ sources revealed Britney is open to this approach and is willing to complete a program.
Right now, her team is in the early stages of coming up with a plan of action. They’re looking into every option available — such as mental health services, detox, and dual-diagnosis programs. It’s unclear if the mother of two would prefer an inpatient or outpatient program right now, but it sounds like it’s all on the table, at least for her team.
She’s due back in court on May 4. So, it’s not yet known if she’d enter treatment before that time. We suppose it depends on what she agrees to do and how long it lasts!
We’re glad to hear she’s open to help and treatment options right now. Everyone just wants the best for her! Thoughts? Let us know (below).
