Joseph Duggar’s Parents Jim Bob & Michelle React To His Arrest — And How They Feel About His Wife Kendra Amid Her Allegations

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are breaking their silence on their embattled son Joseph‘s arrest.

As we’ve been following, Joseph was arrested and charged for the alleged molestation of a 9-year-old back in 2020. We’ve heard a lot of disturbing details of the alleged crime, and a lot of the Duggar fam have reacted thus far — and now, their parents are responding.

In a statement to US Weekly, a rep for Jim Bob and Michelle said:

“Jim Bob and Michelle are heartbroken over this entire situation.”

As far as how they’ve been doing behind the scenes, the rep said they’re focusing on the kids and Joseph’s wife Kendra, who was also arrested recently for endangering minors:

“Right now, they are focused on loving their family and helping Kendra and her children during this difficult time. They are praying for the victim. They ask for privacy and appreciate the kind words and prayers offered by so many.”
