Karma? Joseph Duggar Complains About ‘Miserable’ Jail Conditions In Phone Call With Wife Kendra — & Is Now SUPER Worried Over Child SA Charges!

Joseph Duggar really hated his time behind bars!
In a phone call obtained by Us Weekly on Thursday, the Counting On star was captured on audio recording complaining to his wife Kendra about how awful the conditions were in jail. He, of course, was arrested and booked into jail in Arkansas after he allegedly confessed to molesting a 9-year-old in 2020 in Florida. He and his wife were then both charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, second-degree, and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment in Arkansas.
In the call from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas (before he was extradited to Florida), Joseph can be heard saying:
“I felt like [the] past two nights, like not last night, but the two nights before that, there [were] people up all night, and it was really loud and stuff, but so I didn’t get good sleep. So yesterday was a little bit more miserable.”
Sorry, does he think jail — especially for someone accused of the things he’s being accused of — is supposed to be comfortable? You’re paying the price, Joe! That’s what happens in jail!
He described the jail as “busy during the day” but he also said it feels “rough being in there.” No kidding…

His neighbors were also apparently pretty rowdy:
“Sometimes I can’t even hear myself think whenever they’re next door. [The noise is] like getting hit by a jackhammer.”
In a second call he made to his wife, he complained even more. The 31-year-old could be heard saying:
“I didn’t get much sleep last night. There [were] some tantrums happening. All day yesterday, there’s one guy having this whole tantrum thing. I was kind of waiting till he went to sleep. He got all processed through, and then I went to sleep for just a little while. I don’t know how long, really, but a little while.”
He also recalled a second person throwing “a fit for two or three hours throughout the night”:
“He was just talking really loud, and they’re having to deescalate him the whole time, and every other word was the F word type thing … The guy in one of the cells next door, in the holding cell, he was supposed to get checked in. He’s been thrown a tantrum all day. Almost entertaining, except for, he’s pretty vulgar. So, I focus on my Bible reading.”
Focusing on the Bible, just like his dad Jim Bob advised, right?
Joseph has since bonded out of jail for $600,000 — but his worries and complaints are FAR from over. TMZ reported on Friday that Joe is “nervous, anxious and worried” about the future of his charges and the upcoming legal case. His attorney Al Sauline told the outlet all the media coverage isn’t helping calm his never, either.
Apparently, Joseph is super nervous because he and his team have no idea what kind of evidence police possess, so they don’t even really know what they’re preparing for. They won’t know until prosecutors formally file against him. But they do know who this alleged victim is…
There’s also been a lot of conflicting evidence and leaks, too, so the defense team doesn’t know what to trust. The team is just focusing on him being treated fairly and they do stand by his not guilty plea.
Joseph is said to have “good family support” per his attorney, which is keeping him in “good spirits.” Not a surprise, is it? The Duggars (well, some of them) have a history of sticking by each other, even when they probably shouldn’t.
