Kim Kardashian & Kris Jenner Suffer HUGE Setback In Ray J Sex Tape Legal Battle — Details!

Ohhhh, this is getting messy again, and not in a cute, reality TV cliffhanger kind of way.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner just took a major legal hit in their ongoing courtroom saga with Ray J, and the tea is spilling. Fast.

According to newly filed court documents out of El Lay that were first reported on Wednesday by Page Six, the famous mother-daughter duo have been hardcore trying to keep certain details of their 2023 settlement tied to the infamous sex tape locked away from public view. Their argument? That revealing those details would cause serious harm to their privacy. But the judge was not buying it this time around! Not even a little.

Judge Steven A. Ellis shut things down hard on that front this week, ruling that Kim and Kris failed to provide any real evidence that making the sex tape agreement public would actually damage them. In fact, Ellis described their claims as “too vague, speculative, amorphous, and unsupported to support the requested sealing order.” Ouch!!! That is legal speak for “nice try, but no.”

And if that wasn’t enough, the judge also pointed out something pretty obvious that cuts right to the core of this whole situation: the sex tape has already been public knowledge for years. Soooo the idea that discussing settlement details would suddenly create harm for Kimmy Kakes didn’t exactly hold up in court.

The only (tiny) win for Team Kardashian? Some sensitive financial info, like a bank account number, will remain sealed. But everything else? Fair game.

As Perezcious readers will recall, the latest twist is just one chapter in an increasingly complicated feud. Back in October, Kim and Kris sued Ray J for defamation after he claimed he was working with federal authorities on a potential RICO case against them.

Then, Ray J fired back with his own lawsuit, accusing them of violating the very settlement they all signed by discussing the tape on their Hulu show. Ray J has also continued to push his long-standing claim that Kim and Kris were involved in the tape’s release — something they’ve repeatedly denied.

Regardless, the court doesn’t seem interested in shielding this drama from public eyes anymore. And if this ruling is any indication, more details could soon come bubbling up to the surface.

Buckle up, because this legal battle is far from over, y’all! And if history tells us anything, it’s that this story ALWAYS finds a way back into the spotlight…
