Kyle Cooke Defends Ex Amanda Batula & Slams West Wilson For ‘Playing Multiple Women’ — And How Summer House Cast Is Reacting To Shocking Betrayal!
One day after Amanda Batula confirmed she is dating West Wilson, her estranged husband Kyle Cooke broke his silence over the matter — and what he had to say may shock Summer House fans!!
Content creator Adam Glyn posted a video to TikTok on Wednesday in which he chatted with the Loverboy founder on the streets of New York City about the massive scandal. Although what his ex-wife did is wrong, Kyle took a moment to defend her while slamming West amid the intense online backlash she is facing!

Perezcious readers know Amanda is under fire following the romance announcement because West is her best friend Ciara Miller‘s ex-boyfriend! She broke major girl code, so everyone is rallying around the nurse at this time!
However, Kyle thinks people are taking things way too far! When asked about how he is doing amid the controversy, the reality star said:
“I’m good. I appreciate people checking in. I’m actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest.”
Kyle shared that Amanda gave him a “heads up” before she and West released their joint statement on Tuesday and again that night, adding:
“I understand people have all sorts of opinions, and I’m not justifying any behavior. But, from what I’m seeing, she’s kind of getting cyber bullied, and at the end of the day, all I know is, West seems to be the kind of guy playing multiple women at the same time.”
He may not be wrong about that!
Since the relationship announcement, we learned that West and Ciara reportedly were “casually seeing each other and seeing if things would work out again recently.” Dave Portnoy even claimed he heard West and Amanda were dating at the Super Bowl way back on February 8, so the Complex reporter was potentially seeing both her and Ciara at the same time! Ugh!
Then sources told Page Six on Wednesday that West was in an “exclusive” relationship with a woman named Meija Moreno since the fall or winter of 2025 — and they were together as recently as last week. So, if that’s really true, he allegedly cheated on her with at least Amanda! WTF!
When Kyle said the guy is “playing multiple women,” he may not have been kidding! And then Kyle continued:
“I just looked, and somehow in all of this, 50,000 people have decided that West deserves their follow. And meanwhile, they’re just lighting up Amanda. I just feel bad. Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and is trying to come to terms with it. She is not well.”
Oof…
According to Kyle, he found out about the relationship over the weekend after “evidence started piling up” about Amanda and West. He said he was “trying to give everybody the benefit of the doubt,” but there was too much proof at the end of the day. Although he doesn’t “understand the timeline just yet,” he now cannot help but look back at the duo’s previous interactions with each other. He specifically cannot believe “how handsy” West was with Amanda throughout the show’s tenth season in particular. Which… YIKES.
Despite how upset Kyle is over the situation, he nevertheless begged everyone to ease up on the “hate” toward Amanda because she “deals with mental health issues.” He explained:
“I’m obviously frustrated. … I’m obviously disappointed in her, but just hearing her and hearing how unwell she is — dark thoughts — I just ask people to maybe let off the gas a little bit with the cyberbullying and hate.”
Look, Amanda betraying her longtime friend is not OK. West getting with his pal’s ex-wife is also not cool. Both she and West owe Ciara and Kyle a huge apology!
However, we don’t want to see anyone getting attacked so much that they end up in such a dark place with their mental health. We hope she has some sort of support system around her amid the scandal. Watch the video (below):

As for how Amanda and West’s other castmates are feeling about the scandal? A source connected to the situation told Page Six that they are “pissed” and “disappointed” in the two, and that they are all “Team Ciara.” Whoa!
Soooo it sounds like the others may not defend Amanda like Kyle, then?!
