Britney Spears‘ sons are sending their love to their momma after her arrest… But they’re also reportedly setting some boundaries.
After the Princess of Pop’s arrest on Wednesday night, we heard that her inner circle is coming together to get her some long overdue help. It was reported that her sons Jayden James, 19, and Sean Preston, 20, who she shares with her ex Kevin Federline, would take part in making a recovery path. But now, a source for Naughty But Nice told Rob Shuter that’s pretty much all they’re going to be doing: helping create a plan.
The insider dished that the boys would definitely be spending more time with their estranged momma following this scary incident — but they’re not making her rehabilitation and legal troubles their problem:
“They love their mom, but they’re not going to be responsible for her. That’s simply not their role.”

After years of chaos regarding their mom’s career and personal life, the source said they’re protecting their peace:
“They’ve already carried a lot growing up. They want their mom to be healthy, but they can’t fix this for her. They hope she gets help. But this is something Britney has to do for herself.”
Understandable. It’s difficult for anyone of any age to navigate something like this, and these boys are still pretty young! We’re just glad to hear they’re going to spend time with her and cheer her on — she adores her sons and some extra love is much-needed right now.
