‘Laguna Beach: The Reunion’ Brings the Iconic Cast Back Together 20 Years Later for a Nostalgic Return

Two decades after Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County redefined teen reality television, the cast that launched a generation of reality stars is reuniting for one highly anticipated night of nostalgia, reflection, and behind-the-scenes revelations.

Premiering tonight on The Roku Channel, Laguna Beach: The Reunion brings together original cast members Lauren Conrad, Stephen Colletti, Kristin Cavallari, Lo Bosworth, Talan Torriero, Trey Phillips, Christina Schuller, Dieter Schmitz, Jessica Smith, Alex Hooser, and Morgan Olsen for their first official on-camera reunion in 20 years.

The special sees the former castmates return to the Southern California town where it all began, revisiting the friendships, romances, and infamous love triangles that made the MTV series a cultural phenomenon in the early 2000s.

Featuring candid conversations and never-before-heard behind-the-scenes stories, the reunion will have cast members reacting to some of the show’s most memorable episodes while reflecting on how the groundbreaking reality series changed their lives forever. We had the chance to sit down with some of the cast before the debut, watch above to find out what they shared and below for the trailer.

Originally premiering in 2004, Laguna Beach quickly became a pop culture sensation, ushering in a new era of glossy, youth-driven reality television and paving the way for franchises like The Hills. The series turned Conrad, Cavallari, and Colletti into household names and helped define MTV’s unscripted programming for an entire generation.

Now, with the original stars reunited as adults, the special promises a deeper and more honest look at what life was really like behind the cameras during the height of the show’s fame.

The reunion also marks a full-circle moment for several of the franchise’s biggest names, with Lauren Conrad, Stephen Colletti, and Kristin Cavallari serving as executive producers on the project alongside original Laguna Beach creator Liz Gateley.

During the press junket, the cast teased that the special will address long-held fan questions, revisit famous moments from the series, and reveal what was truly happening when cameras weren’t rolling.

Laguna Beach: The Reunion premieres tonight exclusively on The Roku Channel.
