Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour Reunite for New Netflix Spy Thriller Series
Just as fans prepare to say goodbye to Stranger Things, Netflix has announced an exciting reunion for two of the show’s biggest stars.
Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour are officially teaming up once again for a brand-new Netflix spy thriller series from acclaimed writer Jack Thorne, the Emmy-winning creator behind Adolescence and writer of the Enola Holmes films. The untitled project has already received a straight-to-series order from Netflix and will be produced in partnership with A24.

The announcement marks the latest collaboration between Brown and Harbour, whose on-screen father-daughter relationship as Eleven and Jim Hopper became one of the emotional cornerstones of Stranger Things. In the new series, the pair will once again play family members, this time at the center of a high-stakes espionage drama.
According to Netflix, Harbour will portray Matt Wolfe, a disgraced FBI agent turned private security specialist who is pulled back into the world of espionage when his estranged daughter Rebecca, played by Brown, disappears during a dangerous mission. What follows is a globe-spanning thriller that combines family drama with international intrigue.
The series is loosely inspired by Paul Warner’s novel A Spy in the Blood and will be executive produced by both Brown and Harbour. Brown’s husband, Jake Bongiovi, is also attached as an executive producer.
The project continues Brown’s long-running relationship with Netflix, which includes starring roles in Stranger Things, Damsel, and the popular Enola Holmes franchise. Harbour likewise remains a key Netflix talent following the conclusion of Stranger Things.
Fans of the duo have been hoping for another collaboration ever since Stranger Things wrapped its final season, and it turns out the idea may have originated with Harbour himself. Brown recently revealed that Harbour was instrumental in bringing the project together, while both actors have spoken publicly about their close creative partnership after nearly a decade working together.
While the series does not yet have an official title or premiere date, the announcement has already generated significant buzz online and we’ll be keeping you updated on when to tune in!
