Ariana Grande Launches The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, Expands Support for Immigrant and LGBTQ+ Communities
Ariana Grande is turning her long-standing philanthropic efforts into a formal initiative with the launch of The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, a new charitable organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities through direct funding, advocacy, and emergency assistance.
The foundation will focus on four key areas: protecting LGBTQ+ rights, expanding access to mental health care, amplifying underrepresented voices, and providing rapid relief during times of crisis.
The launch comes as Grande continues to use her platform to advocate for social causes and community organizations. In conjunction with the announcement, the foundation revealed additional support through its Emergency Support Fund for several organizations providing legal aid and assistance to immigrant communities, including Al Otro Lado, Kids In Need of Defense (KIND), Immigrant Defenders Law Center, and This Is About Humanity.
The newly established foundation is organized around four core funding initiatives:
Protect & Defend Fund: The Protect & Defend Fund supports grassroots organizations focused on LGBTQ+ rights, civil rights, and reproductive justice. Current grantees include Lambda Legal, the Transgender Law Center, G.L.I.T.S., and the Trans Youth Emergency Project, among others.
Heal & Dream Fund: Focused on expanding access to mental health resources and community care, the Heal & Dream Fund supports organizations including Trans Lifeline, Backline, the National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network, and Jack.org.
Seen & Celebrated Fund: This initiative aims to elevate LGBTQ+ stories and visibility through support for organizations dedicated to education, advocacy, and community engagement. Current grantees include Transanta, TransLash, Glisten Rainbow Library, and SAGE USA.
Emergency Support Fund: Designed to respond quickly to urgent situations, the Emergency Support Fund provides direct assistance to communities facing crises. Previous recipients have included Humanity Crew, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, Save the Children UK, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, New York Cares, and Troop 6000.
“I am beyond excited to finally announce the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation,” Grande said. “Our mission is to support, protect, and provide resources for our vulnerable friends in need. Through four different funds, we will be supporting handfuls of incredible organizations that provide the safe space and care that is desperately needed by so many right now.”
She continued, “It has been my privilege to be able to support these causes on my own over the years, and I’m grateful to now be able to expand that reach and amplify the life-saving work that these organizations do through the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation.”
As one of the world’s most influential artists, Grande’s decision to formalize her charitable efforts signals a broader commitment to leveraging her platform beyond music and entertainment, directing resources toward organizations working on the front lines of community support and social impact.
